Pactus Nexus: Pactus Novel Exchange for Unified Solutions

Pactus Nexus is an open-source, energy-efficient, and scalable blockchain solution designed to meet the objectives of the NGI TrustChain initiative. Built on the Pactus platform and powered by an enhanced Solid State Proof of Stake (SSPoS) consensus mechanism, the project aims to deliver a secure, interoperable, and user-friendly framework for decentralized applications (dApps) across various sectors, including finance, healthcare, and supply chain management.
The project introduces a novel consensus model that reduces consensus steps from three to two, improving computational complexity from O(n²) to O(n). This significantly boosts performance while minimizing energy usage, with validators capable of running on low-power devices such as Raspberry Pi Zero (2W power consumption). This sustainable design ensures environmental friendliness and accessibility, making blockchain participation more inclusive and cost-effective.
Pactus Nexus will provide modular software components, API toolkits, and developer documentation to facilitate integration and adoption. The platform will undergo real-world testing with end-users and stakeholders to ensure functionality, usability, and compliance with GDPR, eIDAS2, and other EU standards. Emphasizing co-creation and user validation, the solution will be tailored to actual market needs through continuous feedback loops.
Expected outcomes include a validated and documented blockchain system ready for distribution, a user-tested prototype reaching TRL 7, and a business plan to support long-term sustainability. The project will also leverage and extend existing IPRs, including the Pactus protocol, PAC token, PAC Viewer, and Sensifai’s AI technologies.
By combining technical innovation with environmental sustainability and practical usability, Pactus Nexus offers a transformative solution for the future of decentralized trust infrastructures, fully aligned with the goals of NGI TrustChain Open Call #5.
