TRUSTCHAIN, a digital initiative focused on trustworthy digital identities and data, held its first webinar on February 27th, 2023, with 60 participants in attendance. The webinar highlighted the distribution of €1,755,000 among up to 15 selected projects for the Open Call 1 (OC1) on “Decentralised Digital Identity.”
The webinar’s agenda also covered various topics such as TRUSTCHAIN and its OC#1 on Decentralised Digital Identity, the implementation of the user-centered approach, ethics aspects, ARF/digital wallet, application criteria and selection process, indicative timelines, and the application process and proposal template. Caroline Barelle from European Dynamics introduced the project while María Pretel Aguilar from Cybervolunteers Foundation spoke about the implementation of the user-centered approach in the OC#1. In addition, Ruben Roex from Timelex emphasized the importance of ethics and data protection throughout the application period and Jesus Ruiz from Alastria Blockchain Ecosystem explained how to consider digital identity architecture and reference frameworks.
This webinar was aimed at potential applicants, including SMEs, entrepreneurs, researchers, developers, and innovators.
