Professor Thanasis Papaioannou, our partner from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, representing TrustChain, delivered a lecture, sharing his experience in the field.
Professor Papaioannou’s lectures covered key aspects of blockchain, including:
- Blockchain Fundamentals: Providing a foundational understanding of the technology, including its definition, key characteristics (decentralization, transparency, and immutability), historical evolution, and core components.
- Blockchain Platforms and Ecosystems: Exploring the diverse landscape of blockchain platforms and their respective ecosystems.
- Consensus Mechanisms and Blockchain Interoperability: An overview of the consensus mechanisms in the blockchain and the approaches for blockchain interoperability.
- Smart Contract Development: A hands on experience with solidity for creating smart contracts and implementing web3 applications.
