Are you a researcher or innovator with a technical, social science, or multidisciplinary background? Are you interested in collaborating with organizations in the US and Canada on NGI technologies, services, and standards? If so, the NGI Transatlantic Fellowship Program is looking for you!
The program provides travel funding, a living allowance of EUR 3,800 for every full month of stay, and visa costs for visiting fellows from Europe. In addition, fellows and their hosts will receive support through bootcamps, mentors, visibility, community building, and more.
The 1st Call for Open Ideas and Challenges is now open and will select up to 18 applicants for 3-6 month collaborations with host organizations in the US and Canada. Applicants have two participation options:
Challenges: Host organizations define specific research topics (challenges) related to the Next Generation Internet domain. Applicants can submit a proposal answering a challenge defined by the hosting organization.
Open ideas: Applicants submit a proposal around their ideas, products, or services, selecting three preferred hosts among the list of organizations collaborating with the NGI Enrichers program. The program will facilitate the best match between the applicant and host organizations based on the proposed idea, product, or service.
To apply, use the Search for hosts tool to find hosts that match your profile, focus area, and application domain, and check whether the host accepts applications for the “Open Ideas” track, “Challenges” track, or both. More details on the proposed challenges can be found in each host’s individual profile, which can be accessed by clicking on a host’s name.
Don’t miss this opportunity to collaborate with top organizations in the US and Canada on NGI technologies, services, and standards. Apply now to the NGI Transatlantic Fellowship Program’s Call for Open Ideas and Challenges!
