5 tips for a successful application!

TrustChain project started in January 2023 to address the inherent challenges within the current centralised Internet architecture that is not transparent to the user, does not protect the privacy-by -default and does not scale well through 5 Open Calls and an overall budget of €8,775M.

The TrustChain Open Call 4 topic is “Multi chains support for NGI protocols”.

Until July 17th (17:00 CEST) TrustChain Open Call 4 welcomes applications to design and build the gateways that will make it possible to transfer knowledge/ metadata/ data/ process/ requirements from one chain to another in a trustworthy and secure manner. Interoperability across multiple chains, privacy by design, trustworthiness by design, scalability, greenness, openness, and legal compliance should be carefully considered.

Here are 5 tips for successful application!

TIP #1 : Read the Guide for applicants!

Guidelines may not be the funniest thing to read, we know. But trust us: in the TrustChain guide for applicants, you’ll find very useful information to help you apply to our Open Call 4. What will you get? Application process nitty gritties, eligibility criteria; about the evaluation process and the financial support provided; more info on the preparation/submission of the proposals, technical support and infrastructures… these are all covered in the guide for applicants!

TIP #2: Use the official templates
All the projects must be based on the TrustChain proposal template. So, make sure you submit your application in the correct form! Don’t forget to check the administrative form and the additional applicant’s template too.

TIP #3: Check the eligible countries list

TrustChain Open Call 4 is open to several countries. You can confirm if your country is included in the “eligible countries” list, simply by checking section 5.2 of the Guide for Applicants.

TIP #4: Take a look at the FAQs
Having questions and doubts whether you are the right fit to apply is normal. That’s why we prepared a “frequently asked questions” section on TrustChain website. So, whenever you have a doubt, search for your answer there!
